Well, this doesn't really surprise me. Nelly is persistent about making a comeback. He, first made a song and video with Kelly Rowland [yes, a new one] called "Gone" which I'm particularly not a big fan of. However, the new talk of the town is this new song by Keri Hilson "Lose Control" which Nelly is featured on. Again, I'm not a big fan--- but for a few reasons.
1. The recycled name: If you can recall, Ciara's "Lose Control" came out in 2005. Then in 2009, some nasty rumors circulated about the leaked "Turnin me on" remix which Hilson allegedly took shots at Ciara and Beyonce.
2. The Beat: Any producer with the slightest ear could tell right away that the instrumental to "Lose Control" is similar to Rihanna's "Rude Boy" just with different drums and melody.
3. Nelly's rapping on the song isn't apocalyptic or anything, but if you want to compete against the Young Money Empire [Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj] or Kanye west, or even Rick Ross, then you gotta step it up.
